1853 $20 PCGS AU-58 CAC

We are pleased to offer yet another near-mint CAC approved No Motto double eagle, and we will continue to buy them whenever we have the chance. This date has a much lower mintage than 1851 and 1852, but is still relatively attainable in circulated grades. It becomes more difficult to locate in choice AU, and is quite rare in uncirculated. This one is a natural yellow gold example with some minor wear in the fields, it has superb luster for the grade and at first glance presents like a mint state coin. Luckily this one is less than half of the price of a CAC approved MS62, but the stellar eye appeal is not proportional by any means.

    Shipping method will vary based on value and delivery location, but generally, we will use either Fedex overnight or USPS Priority or Priority Express. Either method will be fully insured and require signature for delivery. Also, depending on the value of the item, your package might include a tracking device at our discretion.
