1921 Peace $1 PCGS MS-62 CAC
There are two types of buyers for 1921 Peace Dollars. One prefers blast white lustrous coins, and the other prefers original crusty character with some color. If you're the former, sadly this coin is not for you.
If you're the latter, you're in the right place. This sharply struck example with outstanding hair detail stands out from the crowd when so many are poorly struck flat in the centers. A thick charcoal and steel gray patina blankets the surfaces with some chocolate highlights on the reverse. You'll often hear collectors refer to a coin's natural patina as its "skin", but this coin goes beyond that and we think it would be best described as "leather". Its an interesting coin but definitely stands out from the crowd
